Graveyard Lake Campground

Graveyard Lake Campground lies within William A. Switzer Provincial Park, just a short drive from Hinton, Alberta. This small, rustic site offers seven unserviced, first‑come, first‑served campsites year-round—$30 per night in summer, and $25 in winter (Oct 14 to May 14), with a senior discount available. Many sites border the scenic Jarvis Creek, and nearby interpretive trails lead to both Graveyard and Cache lakes, ideal for peaceful paddling or fishing. A stocked trout pond is also close by. Basic amenities include firepits, pit or vault toilets, and a hand‑pump water source (though bringing your own water is recommended). Firewood is available for purchase at nearby staffed locations during peak season. For more substantial facilities—like beaches, showers, boat launches, and interpretive programs—campers can visit the larger campgrounds a short drive away. This serene, creek‑side retreat is perfect for nature lovers seeking simplicity and solitude.
