Gooseberry Lake Provincial Park

Gooseberry Lake is a small Park nestled in eastern Alberta near Consort. Take the kids to the waterpark or spend the day golfing at the nearby golf course. Take in the rodeo on Father's Day weekend, walk along some of the hiking trails, or enjoy the stars in the night sky. Gooseberry Lake is designated as an Important Bird Area and is known for providing wonderful bird-watching opportunities year-round. Please note that this site is different from the Gooseberry Provincial Recreation Area, located near Kananaskis Country.
