Epcor Environmental Education Centre

Epcor Environmental Education Centre in Okotoks offers an engaging look at the town’s water system, helping visitors understand local water sustainability. Inside the centre, visitors follow a visual journey of Okotoks’ water system and watershed, from where the town’s water comes from to how it moves through the community. Full wall murals clearly explain each step, making complex processes easy to grasp for all ages. Exhibits also highlight how water is managed after it is used and what the future may hold for the community’s water supply. The centre further explores how green infrastructure at the Town’s Operations Centre site helps manage stormwater, connecting everyday infrastructure to long-term environmental health.
