Elk River Provincial Recreation Area

Elk River Provincial Recreation Area, 17 km southwest of Lodgepole on Hwy. 620 and 47 km west on Elk River Road. There is nearby access to OHV and horse trails, though they are not permitted inside the recreation area. A small campground with large, well-spaced sites nestled in a mixed forest. Some sites have a view of the river.
