Elk River Campground is found 17 km southwest of Lodgepole on Hwy. 620 and 47 km west on Elk River Road. A small campground with large, well-spaced sites nestled in a mixed forest. Some sites have a view of the river. There is nearby access to OHV and horse trails, though they are not permitted inside the recreation area.
