Edmonton Opera

Edmonton Opera presents imaginative live opera performances that invite audiences to share powerful emotions and connect through art. Founded in 1963, the company creates each season for modern audiences, bringing familiar favourites to the stage in fresh productions while taking thoughtful artistic risks. Its programming also features repertoire that audiences rarely have the opportunity to experience live. Community is at the heart of its work. Beyond its productions, the company performs at public venues and in unexpected places, making opera part of everyday life and creating meaningful artistic experiences that celebrate shared humanity.
