Drumheller Rocks GeoTourism

Drumheller Rocks GeoTourism offers an immersive exploration of Dinosaur Valley’s geology, paleontology, and coal history, highlighting how these natural resources shaped the town’s industry and culture, with a focus on Drumheller’s mining heritage. Led by Brent Noland, a geologist with a B.Sc. and 15 years of local experience, GeoTours provide an insider’s perspective of the Badlands. A typical tour lasts three hours, beginning with a “Rock Talk” often at the East Coulee School Museum, followed by two hours exploring hidden GeoSites. Many of these sites are off the beaten path and not widely known to the public, offering clients a deeper and more unique Badlands experience. Brent’s knowledge and passion make every tour both educational and unforgettable.
