Diplomat Trout Pond Campground

Diplomat Trout Pond & Campground is a quiet, family-friendly destination located 16 km southwest of Forestburg. This peaceful setting offers 15 non-serviced campsites, making it an ideal spot to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The pond is stocked annually in May with Rainbow and Tiger Trout, creating a great opportunity for anglers of all ages. With two fishing docks, a fish cleaning station, and calm waters for non-motorized boating, it is a perfect place to introduce kids to fishing or spend a relaxing day by the water. Campground amenities include a gazebo, fire pits, and a new campground shelter, along with plenty of space to unwind. Just across the highway, visitors can explore the Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site, adding a unique historical element to your stay. It has 15 un-serviced sites. New to the park as of June 2026, a 9-hole disc golf course.
