DeBolt & District Pioneer Museum Society

DeBolt & District Pioneer Museum Society in DeBolt, Northern Rockies, offers engaging local history exhibits that bring Peace Country stories to life. Incorporated in 1975, this community museum has grown from a small log building into a multi-building site sharing the region’s past. Visitors can explore the Bickell paleontology display, First Nations items, and exhibits on early settlement, farming, homemaking, beekeeping, and cattlemen, along with rodeo and sports history. The DeBolt & District Museum Society has also produced four local history books, including Across the Smoky and Bridges to the Past, giving guests even more ways to connect with Peace Country heritage.
