Coyote Flats Pioneer Village in Picture Butte offers an immersive look at Southern Alberta’s pioneer history through original buildings and artifacts. Visitors can explore streets lined with structures once used by inventors, collectors, pioneers and bootleggers, each helping tell the story of the people who shaped the region. Inside the buildings, artifacts and displays bring daily life on the Historic Plains into focus, from work and worship to community gatherings. The village also features a very large collection of tractors that spans the history of Alberta’s agricultural development, highlighting how farming helped build the province.
