Cochrane and District Agricultural Society

Cochrane and District Agricultural Society operates 140 acres of rental facilities suited for equestrian and agricultural-related events, as well as BMX and Mountain Bike facilities, and even rally racing. They have an indoor riding arena, several outdoor riding arenas, a large barn, a beautiful cross-country eventing course, over 5km of mountain bike trails, and a full BMX track. The Cochrane Ag Grounds regularly hosts Hunter/Jumper Horse Shows, Cowboy Obstacle Playdays, Riding Clinics, and Youth Gymkhanas, as well as user groups events like roping, extreme cowboy, pony club, horse trials, search and rescue training, and biking. We are also the home of the Bow Valley Boot Stomp music festival, Cochrane Food Fest, Cochrane Pet Expo, the Prairie Girls Vintage Market, and the Cochrane Horse Trials.
