This park is nestled in Willow Creek valley, between the Porcupine Hills and the Rocky Mountains, about 90 minutes from Calgary. It gets its name from a reservoir created in 1967 to contain water for the agricultural industry in the area, which now boasts lakeshore views and supports diverse wildlife (keep your eyes peeled for both pelicans and moose). In summer, you can fish, lounge at the beach, paddle, sail, powerboat, camp, and much more.
