Century Downs Racetrack and Casino

Century Downs Racetrack and Casino is in Rocky View County, Alberta, located about 20 minutes north of downtown Calgary near Balzac. It oppened in April 2015, and it revived live horse racing in the Calgary area for the first time since 2008. The race track features a one mile oval track supporting Standardbred, Thoroughbred, and Quarter Horse racing April - October. Live race days run on weekends, holidays, and feature fun special racing events. Century Downs offers free admission and parking for live race events, with family-friendly outdoor apron viewing, food trucks, and betting terminals. Inside the casino you will find a gaming floor with 600 slot machines, VLTs, state-of-the-art electronic table games and a spacious off-track betting area (OTB) that simulcasts global races year-round. On-site eateries include the Celly's Sports Bar and Lounge, The Derby, The Homestretch and The Oaks.
