Cecil Thompson Park & Campground

Cecil Thompson Park is a vibrant day-use community park operated by Northern Sunrise County and a favourite gathering place for both residents and visitors. The park’s popular bouncy pillow has quickly become a local landmark, delighting children and families throughout the season. In addition to the bouncy pillow, the park features challenging outdoor exercise equipment, a scenic fishing pond with wheelchair-accessible docks, a beautiful gazebo, and a paved walking trail with a walking bridge that invites visitors to explore and enjoy the surroundings. The park also offers wheelchair-accessible children’s play equipment, ensuring everyone can join in the fun. Located right next door, visitors will also find a Co-op and Petro-Canada fuel cardlock station, along with Rendez-Vous RV Park, which offers fully serviced RV sites.
