Casa, Lethbridge's Community Arts Centre, sets a new standard for multidisciplinary arts facilities. Spanning approximately 42,000 sq. ft. of studio and presentation space, Casa is a hive of artistic expression. The Gallery at Casa hosts new exhibitions five times a year, displaying contemporary fine art and craft from southern Alberta. The Gallery is always free to visit. Check the website for weekend workshops and classes, and create alongside local artists in various studio spaces. In the summer, enjoy the Upside Downtown Concert + Art Series on Thursdays from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm in Rotary Square. These free concerts showcase the musical talent of southern Alberta. Casa hosts numerous events, so be sure to check the events calendar. Call ahead to book a free tour of the facility, and ask for a Public Art Map at the front desk.
