Canyoning: Heart Creek - Half Day (Beginner) Tour

New to canyoning? This is the perfect place to start. With an easy approach, a comfortable teaching environment, and beautiful mountain scenery, our Heart Creek Canyon trip is designed to introduce you to the sport in a fun, supportive way. Located just outside Canmore and within 30 min of Banff, Heart Creek is their closest canyoning trip to either townsite, while Upper Heart Canyon offers an ideal setting to learn and build rappelling skills. The canyon begins with short, confidence-building rappels that gradually increase in height as you make your way downstream. The adventure culminates in an exciting 80ft+ wet waterfall rappel, complete with a playful slide at the bottom. (It is possible to take a hiking route around the final waterfall.) Accessible, scenic, and packed with just the right amount of challenge, this half-day adventure is the perfect introduction to canyoning.
