Botterill Bottom Park

Botterill Bottom Park in Lethbridge offers riverside trails and wildlife viewing, giving visitors an easy escape into nature close to the city. The park features a mature cottonwood forest with a rich understory, creating shaded paths and a quiet habitat for local wildlife. Visitors can spot a variety of flora and fauna, watch birds along the river and may even see beavers at work near the water. A 3.5 km trail system connects this green space to Indian Battle Park and upper bank trails to the east, making it ideal for longer walks or runs. The Oldman River beside the park is also known as one of the better local fishing areas, where anglers can cast a line while following provincial fishing regulations for species and seasons.
