Blackfalds TransCanada Trail (TCT)

Trail enthusiasts will delight in the extensive community trail system throughout Blackfalds, which also connects the community to Red Deer and Lacombe via the Trans Canada Trail (TCT). The Abbey Centre holds the distinction of being the only place in Canada where the TCT travels indoors. Sponsored by Krest Homes, the TCT takes you from the outdoor TCT through to the second floor of the Abbey Centre and overlooks the Field House. Trail users may access this section of the Abbey Centre at no charge and experience the natural look and feel of this unique indoor trail. TCT and community trail maps are available at the Visitor Information Center, 4400 South Street, the Abbey Centre, 4500 Womacks Road or online.
