Birch Lake Campground & Recreation Park
Unwind where colourful summer sunsets complete long days of recreation and relaxation. Birch Lake is prime for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and wind sailing. No motors are allowed, so it’s easy to hear the chorus of birdsong around you. If you hear the sound of splashing water, it means you’re near the idyllic swimming area. If you’re ready for raucous cheering, take your tournament crew to the three baseball diamonds and Quonset. Birch Lake Campground & Recreation Park is ideal for any group activity. A private group campsite features ten sites, a heated building, stove, fridge, tables, chairs and a large group fire-pit and games area. The campground is wheelchair accessible, too. Individuals can choose from 51 campsites for tents, RVs and trailers, including 41 powered (15/30 amp) and nine non-powered. Flush toilets and hot showers help make your stay more comfortable. Birch Lake Campground & Recreation Park is 144 km (89 mi) east of Edmonton on AB-16.
