Beaverlodge Art & Culture Centre
The Beaverlodge Culture Centre, housed in the historic former Beaverlodge Hospital (1937–1956), has been transformed into a dynamic hub for arts and culture. Visitors can explore two main-floor galleries showcasing rotating exhibitions, browse the gift shop featuring works by local artists and craftspeople, or relax in the tea room highlighted by a stunning stained glass wall. The McNaught Room celebrates the legacy and talent of renowned artist Euphemia McNaught, while the lower floor provides spacious workrooms for potters and weavers. Upstairs, artist studios offer creative spaces for ongoing artistic practice. The Centre proudly acknowledges its location on the traditional territory of Treaty 8 First Nations and Métis peoples, honoring their history and culture. A visit offers an inspiring blend of history, artistry, and community in Beaverlodge.
