The Battle River Pioneer Museum at #700 Hwy 691, Manning, AB is 1 km (.5 mi) East of town and includes a large main building, log cabin, post office, Anglican Church, machine sheds, blacksmith shop, and windmill. With over 10,000 items, the collection features a full-mount albino moose, timber wolf, and cougar; albino deer head, grizzly bear, albino porcupine, buffalo calf, a two-headed calf, other wildlife, and birds. There is also a large collection of agricultural equipment, tools, clothing, toys and household items. On the Sunday of Heritage Day weekend, there is an antique tractor parade featuring approximately 35 of the over 70 antique tractors running, some over a 100 years old. There is a pancake breakfast, food booth, threshing demonstration, rope making and more.
