Badlands Distillery, located in Leduc, Alberta, is a craft distillery renowned for its commitment to traditional Appalachian distilling methods and the use of locally sourced ingredients. Founded with hands-on training from a Virginia-based moonshine specialist, the distillery emphasizes a "grain to glass" philosophy, ensuring that each spirit reflects the unique character of Alberta grains. The distillery specializes in corn-based spirits, including various moonshine flavours like Alberta Joe, Cherry, and Spiced, as well as premium corn-based vodka. By avoiding the use of grain-neutral spirits and chill filtering, Badlands Distillery maintains the integrity and distinctiveness of its products.
