Arrowwood Country Store Museum

Arrowwood Country Store Museum in Arrowwood offers a small-town heritage museum experience, giving visitors a glimpse into prairie general store life. Housed in a former general store that operated until 1987, it preserves shelves of goods once purchased by the owner’s grandparents, creating an authentic step-back-in-time atmosphere. Visitors can study a detailed topographical model by Kent Norton that illustrates the local irrigation system from the Carseland Dam to Lake McGregor, adding context to the surrounding landscape. Seasonal events bring extra charm, with a sundae day in July and a pie and coffee day in October, inviting guests to linger, connect, and savour simple community traditions.
