Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area

Get in touch with nature at the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area (ASCCA). It is made up of 4,800 acres of rolling foothills land with a day-use natural area. Located just southwest of Calgary, the Cross Conservation Area is dedicated to protecting wildlife habitat, offering conservation education programs, and managing human use of the area. The area features over 22 kilometres of scenic hiking trails. The area is open for the public to hike and enjoy, and take part in the educational programs. Since 1993, over 120,000 youth and adults have participated in their hands-on conservation-based learning opportunities. The land was donated by Ann and Sandy Cross.
