Alberta's Largest Red River Cart

Visit the Kikino Metis Settlement to see Alberta's Largest Red River Cart. Standing over 30 feet tall, 24 feet wide and 58 feet in length, the cart is constructed out of metal and timber. Stop by and take some pictures to see the iconic Red River Cart which is a symbol of the Metis people throughout Canada. The cart is located at the entrance to the townsite of the Kikino Metis Settlement, just 3 minutes west of Highway 36. Erected in August of 2024, Alberta's Largest Red River Cart is sure to inspire photography ideas throughout all seasons, times of day and for special events and occasions.
