Adventures for Wilderness

The Adventures for Wilderness (A4W) program is run through Alberta Wilderness Association. Their goal is to connect folks to Wild Alberta through a myriad of outdoor experiences led by local experts, across a variety of different ecoregions across the province. Adventures for Wilderness occur throughout Central and Southern Alberta, and range from long day hikes in remote areas to short city walks. Each program will have local volunteer experts, including botanists, geologists, wildlife specialists, and community organizers, who will share their knowledge of, and help participants connect to, Wild Alberta.
