Visit the Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek public art gallery in the historic Lebel Mansion during the months of March and April for their latest exhibition Yesterday's Everyday by artist Beth Pederson. Through highly rendered paintings, Beth's work serves to preserve and celebrate objects of yesterday as visual mementos, while also bringing awareness to viewers, the beauty that can be found in your daily surroundings. Yesterday's Everyday is an exploration of identifying beauty in everyday objects and their place in society. This work symbolizes times past and lost independence; a stark contrast to your present-day lives, where if something breaks, you throw it away because you do not know how to fix it. It is often cheaper to buy a new appliance or device than have it repaired.
