Wilder Dinner: Wings Over the Prairie (18+)

Wilder Dinner: Wings Over the Prairie (18+), located in Calgary, offers a conservation-focused evening paired with a curated farm-to-table dinner. Guests hear directly from members of the Wilder Institute’s Conservation & Science team as they share stories from communities and ecosystems where collaborative efforts are protecting species and habitats, with a focus on burrowing owls and whooping cranes. Each course of the multi-course dinner is paired with storytelling, creating an engaging and accessible way to connect with conservation beyond the zoo. The experience takes place at Safari Lodge on Friday August 21, 2026, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Guests are welcome to arrive at 4 p.m. to begin exploring the zoo, with the bar in Safari Lodge opening at 5:30 p.m. Doors to the dining room open at 6 p.m., with dinner service and the presentation portion following at 6:30 p.m.
