Wild Walk 2026

Wild Walk 2026 at the Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo is a three-kilometre family walk supporting wildlife conservation. On October 3, the morning brings fresh air, special animal enrichment moments, photo opportunities and live entertainment from the Wilder Bunch. Every step supports animals at the zoo and critical conservation efforts around the globe. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. in Jayman BUILT Plaza, followed by the walk at 9 a.m. from Penguin Plaza. After the route, participants can gather with the zoo community for a breakfast buffet on Asia Lawn. Registration includes full-day zoo access, so families can keep exploring after the event ends at 12 p.m.
