Meet the Animal Care, Health & Welfare team. Discover the fascinating world of the animals in their care led by Dr. Doug Whiteside, the Head Veterinarian & Senior Manager – Animal Health and Welfare, and his amazing team of veterinarians and animal health technologists! This engaging evening features a lively presentation filled with photos, videos, X-rays, and real-life stories that take place at the zoo! At different booths, you’ll have the chance to check out the tools of the trade and chat with the experts on the Animal Health team. You’ll learn what goes into caring for the animals, from routine check-ups to unexpected emergencies. This event is recommended for those aged 12 and up. Where: Safari Lodge 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
