UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup & YEG Ice Fest

Climb YEG, Offbeat Entertainment, and the Alpine Club of Canada Edmonton Section are excited to be hosting the annual UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup in Edmonton! This is an outdoor event for visitors of all ages. The four-day event combines international competition with a community-focused winter festival. The event will feature international World Cup competitions in the disciplines of speed ice climbing and lead ice climbing, and festival activities for the community, including try-it ice climbing, other winter sport educational demos and activities, community business expo, live entertainment, food vendors, beer gardens and family-friendly activities.
