The Karst Backpacking Trip | Uplift Adventures

A karst is a landscape predominantly derived from limestone and has been eroded over thousands of years to produce fissures, sinkholes, caves, and more. The karst backpacking trip takes you on a journey of exploration of moon-like landscapes. After a scenic day of backpacking, you will reach camp and want to immediately explore this awe-inspiring area. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife because it is common to see mountain goats and sheep watching you from the alpine mountain slopes. You can choose to do this trip as 2- or 3-day trip. For the 3-day trip, you will base camp in the same location, but on day 2, you will explore caves and further in the valley. You will not have to move camps. This backpacking trip is designed for an intermediate to advanced backpacker.
