Summer Writers Readings - Chapter 3

Hosted by poet Catriona Strang, Literary Cabaret offers an inspiring evening of creativity as part of the Summer Writers residency at Banff Centre. Across three nights, audiences can enjoy intimate readings of groundbreaking poetry and prose by both participants and faculty mentors. Catriona Strang, a founding member of the Institute for Domestic Research, is the author of Low Fancy, Corked, Reveries of a Solitary Biker, and Unfuckable Lardass. Guests can enjoy drinks from the bar, browse a curated selection of books at Pages Books, and soak in the vibrant literary atmosphere. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., with readings beginning at 7:00 p.m. Afterward, there is time to mingle with writers and faculty until 9:30 p.m. This event is an essential experience for those passionate about the future of creative writing.
