South Country Fair is a peaceful and rural music and arts festival that happens every year just outside Fort Macleod, Alberta, featuring a wide range of musical talent from mandolins to wild electric and Flamenco guitars, bagpipes and rant poets. This event began as a weekend camping trip for several local clubs intended for organizers to get to know each other better. It has since morphed into the 3-day annual extravaganza it is today.
