Rock'n August

Rock’n August is an annual classic car and music festival held in St. Albert, Alberta, celebrating automotive culture, live entertainment, and community spirit while raising funds for diabetes research. Founded in 1996, the week-long event brings together hundreds of vehicles, dedicated volunteers, and thousands of spectators for a vibrant lineup of shows, cruises, and entertainment. Each summer, the festival features events throughout the city, including Show’n Shine displays showcasing hundreds of classic and specialty vehicles, live music performances, community gatherings, and family-friendly activities. Over the years, Rock’n August has grown into one of Western Canada’s most recognized car festivals and a beloved tradition for enthusiasts across the region. Beyond the cars and music, the festival has raised more than $1.9 million for the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, supporting vital research and care initiatives across the province.
