Remembrance Day Service - The Military Museums

Join them on Remembrance Day at The Military Museums in Calgary for a truly unique and moving experience. As the largest tri-service museum in Western Canada, they offer a chance to honor the fallen heroes in an immersive setting surrounded by tanks, aircraft, and naval displays. The ceremony begins at 10:30 AM with the traditional Last Post, a two-minute silence, and the laying of ceremonial wreaths. After the service, at 11:45 AM, the museum opens to the public with free admission by donation. Visitors can also participate in a special tribute by laying real poppies at the Eternal Flame monument. With its rich military history and respectful atmosphere, this event provides a meaningful way to reflect, remember, and connect with Canada's military legacy.
