Open Farm Days | Tierra Flores

Tierra Flores in High River offers herb walks, flower experiences and demos that connect visitors with plants in a peaceful farm setting. Visitors can wander among trees and wildlife, see the flower field and vintage barn, and learn how medicinal herbs and cut flowers are grown. Weekend talks share traditional uses of herbs, and live demonstrations show how essential oils and hydrosols are distilled on site. Hydrosols plus fresh and dried herbs are available for purchase, and a bouquet bar lets guests build their own take-home arrangement. The Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society offers sessions on agroforestry, shelter belts and tree care, with information on grants for tree planting projects. The farm welcomes visitors both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
