Open Farm Days | Sacred Heart Gyspies
Sacred Heart Gyspies in Barrhead offers guests close-up time with a Gypsy Cob herd and the chance to learn their unique story. Set on 30 acres of meadow pasture along the peaceful Pembina River, this working ranch invites visitors to connect with Karen’s Gypsy Cob horses in a relaxed, natural setting. During each session, guests hear a talk on the history and characteristics of the Gypsy Cob breed, along with how this particular herd came to be and how its story continues to unfold. Travellers meet foundation horses Wild Rose Ramble and Wild Rose Lyric, then spend time with the mare herd, foals and future stud colt Titan 10. With two daily time blocks, 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m., visitors can choose the window that fits their Open Farm Days adventure.
