Quiet Hills Ranch in Camrose County’s Beaver Hills Biosphere offers wagon farm tours where families can meet cows and calves up close. Visitors ride a tractor-pulled wagon through rolling grasslands and forests to see mother cows with their babies and learn about hay and pasture plants. Guests can stroll quiet trails to spot birds and wildflowers or relax in the shade near the farmhouse for a slower, rural pace. Around the barns, friendly cats, dogs, horses and chickens add to the farmyard feel, with free snacks and drinks offered during the visit. Travellers can also meet Clem, one of the tallest oxen in the world, and view a man-made bat condo that shelters over 700 bats, showcasing unique wildlife on this working beef cow and calf farm.
