Open Farm Days | Pitchfork Gardens

Pitchfork Gardens in Lamont County’s Lakelands region invites guests to pick seasonal vegetables and berries for a fresh-from-the-field experience. Visitors can wander changing crops from spring to fall, picking their own vegetables, strawberries and raspberries, and joining garden tours that may include rough terrain, rocks and gravel. During Open Farm Days, guests can plant a “dragon egg” (dragon’s tongue bean) to take home, visit protected honey bee hives, and enjoy a hot dog and pop by donation in support of the County of Lamont Food Bank. Families can meet friendly mini horses Ju-Jube, Monster and Princess, say hello to Joe the mini donkey, and compare them to full-size horse Rogue while exploring this working Lakelands garden.
