Open Farm Days | Eagle Lake Nurseries

Eagle Lake Nurseries, located in the Canadian Badlands, invites guests to explore a working prairie tree farm. Visitors can see how a large-scale plant nursery operates, with 1,000 acres of prairie-hardy trees and shrubs that have supported landscaping projects across Western Canada for 55 years. Families can meet a real tree farmer, ask questions about growing conditions and plant care, and learn what it takes to raise healthy trees on the prairies. Throughout the day, guests can ride the Eagle Lake train for a guided farm tour, adopt a tree or shrub to take home, and shop a one-day pop-up plant sale with farm-direct prices, making it easy to start or grow their own backyard forest.
