Nomadisms Open Studios

Nomadisms Open Studios, located in Banff in the Canadian Rockies, offers visitors a chance to meet resident artists and discover works in progress. Held at Glyde Hall at Banff Centre, this project-based residency showcases visual artists who have spent four weeks exploring the theme of nomadism through their chosen mediums. Guests can wander through working studios, seeing ceramics, digital media, painting, performance art, and sculpture in various stages of development. Travellers are invited to speak directly with participating artists about their creative processes, inspirations, and experiments. It is an accessible way for art lovers, practising artists, and curious first-time gallery-goers to experience contemporary art-making up close and gain insight into how ideas move from concept to finished work.
