Nature Photography - Getting Started

Capture the beauty of the natural world while keeping wildlife and the environment first. This small-group workshop (max 4 participants) is designed for beginners who want to move beyond auto mode and start taking intentional, ethical nature photos. Led by award-winning nature photographer Jo-Anne Oucharek, this hands-on session covers: Ethical Photography – Respecting wildlife, minimizing impact, and understanding behaviour before you shoot. Camera Basics – Getting off auto mode, adjusting settings in the field, and working with natural light. Review & Recap – Returning to the classroom to analyze shots, refine techniques, and apply what you’ve learned.
