Visit the Allied Arts Council gallery in the historic Lebel Mansion during the months of July and August for their latest exhibition, "Myth" by Crowsnest Pass based artist Tony Partridge. Myth focuses on The Art of Landscape: a complex narrative, showcasing landscape paintings of the region with stunning realism. Tony Partridge paints not the grand vistas or long, broad views, but the more intimate, cloaked realities. The close-up of vibrant and intense places that dwell in heavy shadow, penetrated by moments of brilliant light. These after the places where the small things dwell, the fish, the birds, the insects and the floral life. Visit the mansion on Saturday, July 5th, for an opening reception from 1 pm-4 pm with the artist in attendance.
