Museum Skills Workshops: Preserving Your Pride: Scrap books and photos

October is Queer History Month, and in this workshop, they’ll be focusing on preserving items like scrapbooks, photos, cards, and letters that hold queer stories and memories. These personal items tell the important stories that deserve to be kept for future generations of Albertans. Join archivists and conservators from the Royal Alberta Museum and the Provincial Archives of Alberta to learn how to care for your own paper memorabilia collection. This workshop will give you an introduction to best practices in caring for photos, letters, cards, and scrapbooks.
