Into the Summit for Mental Health and Wellness

Into the Summit for Mental Health and Wellness in Canmore offers a unique cave adventure supporting Canadian military veterans and their families. On October 25, 2026, participants will venture into Rat's Nest Cave, a wild, undeveloped cave beneath Grotto Mountain. Stretching more than 4 km, it is one of Canada's longest caves. The route involves climbing, crawling, sliding and squeezing through water-worn passages while exploring ancient cave formations. The event brings awareness to the mental health challenges faced by veterans and their families, including post-traumatic stress disorder and operational stress injuries. Participants come together for an unforgettable underground adventure while supporting an initiative dedicated to the well-being of Canada's military community.
