Hide Tanning Open Studios

Step inside Glyde Hall and experience the work of the Hide Tanning Residency as participants and faculty open their studios to the public. Over three weeks, Indigenous artists have worked alongside faculty and peers, developing their knowledge of traditional hide tanning through hands-on practice, cultural learning, workshops, and conversation. Explore works in progress, meet the artists, and learn more about the techniques, approaches, and artistic practices shaping their time at Banff Centre.
