Heritage Day Festival | Calgary Folk Arts Council

Calgary Heritage Day Festival in downtown Calgary invites visitors to Eau Claire Plaza for multicultural performances, food and family fun. Guests can experience traditions from more than 30 countries through live music, colourful dance performances, traditional costumes and the flavours of international cuisine. Cultural exhibits, handcrafted artwork and community booths highlight heritage from around the world and create space to learn, connect and share stories. Held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the festival also offers family-friendly fun with two playgrounds, including a popular sand play area for digging and building. Admission is free, making it easy to drop in, explore new cultures and enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon in the heart of the city.
