Travel the Francophone world, no passport required, at Franco Festival Calgary. Franco Festival Calgary, hosted by the Portail de l'Immigrant Association, is Calgary's first ever cultural celebration showcasing the rich diversity of Francophone communities from around the world. With the easily accessible location at Prince's Island Park, this free event spotlights the global Francophonie with live music and performances, dance, vendors, art, and food from Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Indigenous communities across Canada. On September 19, visitors can enjoy a free Francophone open-air movie night, and the next day, September 20, experience live performances, authentic cuisine, and interactive cultural displays- all in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere! Franco Festival Calgary is a must-attend event for those looking to get a taste of the global Francophonie, right in the heart of Calgary, with no plane ticket required.
