Everyone Has a Story free Songwriting workshop with Alberta Artist in Residence John Wort Hannam

The Allied Arts Council of Pincher Creek is excited to share, Everyone Has a Story Songwriters workshop with Alberta Artist in Residence John Wort Hannam. ​ This free workshop will take place at The Annex - Conference room, 753 Kettles Street Pincher Creek, AB T0K 1W0 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. "Everyone Has A Story” is a songwriting workshop designed for Albertans of all backgrounds and all levels. This project will guide participants through the creative process of songwriting- from idea generation to final composition. (It is important to note that participants do not need to play an instrument or sing - this workshops focuses on song lyrics.) "Participants will work towards creating a song that is based on a personal story or personal experience because I believe that when we tell our own stories and listen to each other’s stories, we can connect and when there's connection we develop bonds." ​​​ This event is free but does require you to sign up online.
